Why a section shows up empty
Updated August 10, 2026
When a card has no data, ContentScout says so upfront with a Scouty empty state instead of padding it with numbers from elsewhere. It's almost never an error: it's usually a matter of waiting a few minutes or knowing which account you're looking at.
I just added an account and its cards are empty
That's expected. The card shows "Queued / analyzing" while its first analysis runs, and the posts arrive within minutes. Comments and sentiment can take up to an hour more, since the hourly process picks them up.
I see data on one account but not on another
Every view is per account: it only shows data for THE selected account, never another one's. A new account with no data shows honest empty states even if your other accounts are full. Switch accounts with the switcher at the top to compare.
I don't see any comments or sentiment
If the account is new, give it up to an hour. If the account has been around a while and still shows no comments, its posts may have no recent comments to analyze; check back in a few days.
I can't find the Audit tab on a competitor
The audit only exists for your own accounts. On a competitor you'll see Overview, Comments, and Posts, with no Audit.
Thumbnails or images won't load
Image links from the platforms expire over time, so a thumbnail may stop showing. The post itself is still there: open its link and you'll see it on its platform.
A page shows a lock
Keywords, Recipes, and "Analyze a post" (in Saved) are Pro features. On the free trial you'll see them in a locked state. They unlock when you subscribe from Subscription.
If an account has gone more than a day with no data, check why data doesn't update instantly or write to us from Help & support in the sidebar.
