What to expect from your first analysis
Updated July 22, 2026
When you finish onboarding, ContentScout kicks off your initial analysis. It first takes a deep look at your networks and those of the creators you track, then starts filling your dashboard. It usually takes 3 to 5 minutes, and the results appear on their own, no need to reload or wait on the page.
What's being prepared
While it runs, you'll see a progress indicator ("X of Y analyses ready"). Each section fills in as soon as it's ready:
- Trends: topics rising in your niche.
- Competitors: standout content (outliers) from the creators you track.
- Comments: your audience's sentiment, drawn from their comments.
When the analysis finishes, your next ideas include context labels (signal chips) that show where each one comes from: your audience, a trend, or a creator you track.
If something doesn't finish
Sometimes an analysis doesn't complete on the first try. You lose nothing: we retry automatically every hour, and within a day your dashboard will be ready. In the meantime you can browse as usual.
My dashboard is still empty. Is something wrong?
If you just finished onboarding, give it a few minutes. If several hours pass with no change, check that your subscription is active: without it we can't generate the analysis.
