How to track a post and watch it evolve
Updated August 26, 2026
Posts lets you put any publication under watch, yours or anyone's. From that moment we save its numbers every day, so you can see whether it's still climbing, when it stopped growing, and how far it got. It lives in Tracking, next to accounts and keywords.
Tracking starts the day you add the post. We can't recover what it did before: nobody stores that history until someone asks for it. If a post matters to you, add it early.
How to put a post under tracking
Go to Tracking > Posts
Tap the Track post card at the end of the grid. You can follow up to 5 posts at a time.
Paste the link
We take posts from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. It costs no credits: neither adding it nor the daily tracking.
Let us analyze it
Right then we fetch the post, its transcript when the network provides one, and pull out its hook: the line it opens with and what kind it is.
What you see inside
- The evolution curve, with views, likes, comments and engagement. Turn each one on and off by tapping its number.
- The post's hook, with the opening line verbatim.
- The transcript, when the network provides one. Only TikTok bundles it with the post; on Instagram and YouTube it has to be requested, and costs 1 credit.
- What people are saying: an analysis of its comments, on demand, for 1 credit. You can re-run it whenever you want, and you'll always see when the one you're reading is from.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see a curve yet?
A curve needs two days. The first one leaves a point, and tomorrow it draws itself. It can't be filled in backwards.
What happens if I stop tracking a post?
Its history is NOT deleted. Add it again and you get back every day we had already measured instead of starting from zero.
Why do some numbers say “not available”?
Because that network doesn't report them. An Instagram photo has no views, so we'd rather say so than show a zero that would look real.
Does the daily tracking spend credits?
No. Tracking a post costs no credits, and from then on we refresh it every 24 hours, also free.
