How to read your campaign's analytics

Updated August 23, 2026

Open a campaign from Campaigns and you'll find three tabs: Posts, Analytics and History. The name, dates and status always sit on top, with a dot that pulses while the campaign is active.

Posts

The grid of every post the campaign is measuring, each with its views, likes, comments and ER. You can filter it by Network and by creator, and sort it by Top performer, views, comments or most recent. The standout posts carry a badge: Top performer, Top views, Top likes and Top comments.

"Top performer" isn't simply the post with the most views: it compares every post against the rest of the campaign on views and on engagement rate, and rewards the one that stands out on both. That's why a post with fewer views but far more conversation sometimes wins. Badges and stats are computed over what you're looking at: filter by one network and they describe that network.

Analytics

Six tiles sit on top: total views, engagements, average ER, likes, comments and shares. They're buttons: tap one and its line appears on the chart, tap it again and it's gone. Views are on by default. If the campaign spans more than one network, a Network filter narrows the whole tab to that network.

  • Daily shows what each day gained; Cumulative shows the running total. Daily answers "which day worked", cumulative answers "how are we doing".
  • Each metric is scaled against its own maximum so they can share the chart, so the left axis belongs to the first active metric. Hover a day and you get every metric's real value.
  • Below the line, small pills with thumbnails mark the days something was published. Hover one and it tells you which posts went out that day.

If you paused the campaign, those days have no measurement and the chart leaves a gap instead of inventing a straight line. And if a creator deletes a post you were measuring, the cumulative total can dip: that's honest, those views no longer exist.

Metrics breakdown

The table under the chart has three views. By day lists each date with the totals and, in green, what it gained that day. Averages sums up how much the campaign grows per day and how much each post contributes on average. Upload activity keeps only the days something was published, to see what happened to the metrics around each upload. The Export CSV button downloads the full daily breakdown for your spreadsheet.

Length, consistency and hours

At the bottom of the tab, three cards describe how the content was made rather than how it performed: video length (median and range per network, never mixed across networks because a long YouTube video and a short TikTok don't average), posting consistency (the calendar of which days content went out) and best hours (what times posts were published, in your timezone). The length card starts empty and fills in as the daily refreshes measure the videos.

History

The record of everything that happened to the campaign: when it was created, when it started, which sources were added or removed, which posts were dropped, every pause and resume, and when it ended. It's what explains an odd jump in the chart: there's almost always an event behind it.

Frequently asked questions

The chart is empty or almost flat.

The curve is drawn from the daily measurements, so on day one there's nothing to compare yet. With two days you see the cumulative curve, and with three or more the daily view takes shape.

Why isn't average ER the average of my posts' ERs?

It's weighted by views: it adds up the whole campaign's likes and comments and divides by total views. That way a post with 100 views doesn't weigh the same as one with 100,000.

Can I compare networks against each other?

Yes, with the Network filter in the Analytics tab: switch network and every tile, the chart and the table recompute for that network alone. Video length is the exception and always shows one figure per network.

Can I ask Scouty about my campaign?

Yes. You can ask how it's going, which post did best, or have it show you the chart, the table or the results cards right in the chat. Your AI assistant connected through Connect can read them too.
