How to change the language and adjust your notifications
Updated August 10, 2026
You can adjust how ContentScout looks and what it tells you: the interface language and your notification preferences.
Change the language
ContentScout is available in Spanish and English. Switch between them with the language switcher in your account menu. The change applies to the whole app and to Scouty too, who replies in the language you pick. Your choice is saved to your profile, so it sticks the next time you sign in.
The email digest
Open Notifications from your account menu to set up the email digest, which gathers the trends in your niche, outliers from your competitors, and your audience's sentiment. Choose how often you get it:
- Three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Once a week: Mondays only.
- Don't send: you won't receive the digest.
Real-time alerts
Beyond the digest, Scouty can ping you the moment something important happens, without waiting for the weekly send. On the same page you turn each alert on or off:
- Viral post alert: when a post from you or a competitor hits 5x your average.
- Content gap alert: when a topic that used to work for you has gone 20+ days without a post.
- Negative sentiment alert: when comments about you turn negative.
Your changes in Notifications save on their own; there's nothing to confirm.
