What Scouty can do for you

Updated November 3, 2026

Scouty doesn't just read your data to answer you: it can also do things for you in ContentScout. Ask in your own words in the chat, for example "save this post", "track @account as a competitor" or "create the keyword personal finance on TikTok", and it shows you a card with what it will do. Nothing changes until you tap its button; if you don't want it, tap Not now. Actions follow the app's rules: if one depends on your plan, it says so below, and if Scouty tells you it can't do something from the chat, do it in the app with the steps from its article.

What you can ask it

  • Save to or remove from Saved a competitor's outlier, a keyword post or one of your posts, a trend, a comment topic or an idea, or save a note you dictate. Removing a note or an idea cannot be undone, and an idea takes its saved outlines and scripts with it.
  • Track or stop tracking an account on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, as a competitor or as one of your networks. It uses an account slot, and stopping it spends one of the cycle's rotations.
  • Track or stop tracking the Meta ads of an Instagram account you already track, on the Pro and Ultra plans. It uses no extra slot and spends no rotation.
  • Track or stop tracking a public post on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. When you stop, you keep its history and the slot frees up in 24 h.
  • Create or delete a keyword on the networks you choose. Deleting it erases its history and cannot be undone.
  • Mark an Insights finding as done or dismissed, or bring back to your pending list one you marked recently.
  • Edit your strategy: rename your pillars or change your CTAs or your audience countries. Your already-classified posts move to the pillar's new name.
  • Change your bio: your profile is re-analyzed with it, as in Workspace information.
  • Delete a recipe you created from another creator. It cannot be undone, and creating it again costs credits again.

Everything works as in the app: it uses the same slots and spends the same rotations. During the trial you can't stop tracking an account or a post, or delete a keyword. Scouty only proposes what you asked for, one card per thing: up to 3 per message and only one that removes or deletes something. A card you don't confirm expires after 24 hours.

The ones that spend credits

They cost the same as in the app. The card shows the price on its button and you're only charged when you tap it; if you had already unlocked it, it says so and charges nothing. If you don't have enough credits, it warns you and charges nothing. When it finishes, the card tells you how much was charged or whether we refunded the credits because something failed.

  • Generate a post's transcript, from a competitor, a keyword, the Library, Saved, your own or one you track: 1 credit the first time and free after that.
  • Generate a post's analysis: the hook, structure, tone and why it worked. 2 credits the first time and free after that; your competitors' outliers are already free.
  • Import a post by its link from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube: it fetches it, analyzes it and keeps it in Saved for 2 credits. If it was already in Saved, nothing is charged.
  • Analyze the comments of a post you track: 1 credit every time it runs.
  • Create a recipe from another creator's profile: 2 credits. If you already have one from that creator, it tells you so without charging.
  • Generate your own voice recipe from your best posts: 1 credit. If you already have it, it doesn't generate it again.

A Deep Scroll (50 credits), on the Pro and Ultra plans: tap Deep Scroll in the chat, pick Creators or Topic and say what you need. It only charges when you tap Launch on its card, and if it doesn't finish or finds nothing, we refund the credits.

Frequently asked questions

Can Scouty do anything without my confirmation?

No. Scouty only proposes: the action runs when you tap its card's button, and the card tells you when it's done.

Which workspace does it act on?

The conversation's. If you have more than one, the card says which one it acts on.

What can't it do?

It doesn't change your plan, your payments or your settings: you do that in Subscription and in your user menu.

What about Claude or ChatGPT?

Your connected assistant can also take actions if you turned them on when connecting or under Connections, and the ones that spend credits have their own permission. See how to connect ContentScout with Claude or ChatGPT.
