How to fetch an account once, without using a slot

Updated November 5, 2026

If you only want to look at an account, not follow it, pick Fetch once in the "Track account" dialog. It works for competitors and your own accounts, on any plan, trial included. It costs 3 credits, plus any extras you tick: trial reels (+2, Instagram competitors only), Meta ads (+2, Instagram only) and follower history (+8).

  • It uses no slot and never updates by itself: you see its data as it was on the day you fetched it. The "Data as of…" tag tells you the date.
  • It has its own table, "Fetched once", below the 24/7 one, and shows in the switcher with the "Fetched once" tag.
  • Its comments are not analyzed: that's only for accounts you track 24/7.
  • Refresh (the ⋯ menu on its row) fetches it again for credits, once every 24 hours. Track 24/7 moves it to the table above and uses a slot.
  • If the account does not exist, is private or brings no posts, we refund the credits. If an extra can't be fetched, we refund just that one.
  • You can also ask Scouty to fetch an account once: it shows you a card with the price and only charges if you confirm it. To remove it, use Remove from list in the ⋯ menu on its row, or ask Scouty or your connected assistant. Credits are not refunded.

You can fetch up to 20 accounts per day. An account you already track 24/7 can't be fetched once: its data already updates by itself.
